I'll say yes to this as long the booking is see as a service instead of a product so as consultant/independent/professional we will able to offer service which is without weight, distance, ...
or at lest having a how to from @karl ;)

You can use a combination of the custom form + products + catégories + the shopping cart to achieve that goal my friends...
